Booking Terms & Conditions

S&N Travel Oy (hereinafter "The Organizer") and the client (hereinafter "The Traveler") agree to the following terms and conditions for all travel packages and services.

1. Booking & Payments

To secure a booking, the Traveler must pay a deposit. The remaining balance is due shortly before the departure date to minimize upfront costs for the Traveler.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable booking fee of 30% of the total package price is required at the time of booking.

  • Final Payment: The remaining 70% of the total price must be paid no later than 30 days before the scheduled departure date.

  • Late Bookings: If a booking is made less than 30 days before departure, the full amount (100%) is due immediately.

2. Cancellation Policy

If the Traveler cancels the trip, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 30 days before departure: The Traveler loses only the 30% booking fee.

  • 30 days or less before departure: The Traveler is charged 100% of the total package price.

  • No-show: If the Traveler does not appear for the trip, no refund will be issued.

3. Consumer Protection (KKV)

S&N Travel Oy (Business ID: 3599649-3) operates in strict compliance with the Finnish Package Travel Act.

  • We are a registered travel organizer with the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV/FCCA).

  • All payments made for package travel are protected by a statutory security deposit lodged with the KKV. This ensures that in the unlikely event of insolvency, your payments are secured, and repatriation is guaranteed.

(Note: While your registration is pending, you can keep this text but add "(Registration Pending)" next to the ID number).

4. Passports & Visas

The Traveler is responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport and obtaining any necessary visas for entry into Finland and the Schengen Area. S&N Travel Oy is not liable for denied entry due to missing or incorrect documentation.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all Travelers purchase comprehensive personal travel insurance that covers cancellation due to illness, medical emergencies, and lost luggage. The Organizer’s liability is limited to the package services only.

6. Force Majeure

S&N Travel Oy is not liable for changes or cancellations caused by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (Force Majeure), such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or strikes. In such cases, we will work to provide a suitable alternative or refund recoverable costs.
